The Hills are alive with the sound of children singing!
The Downs, Malvern College Prep once again are winners of the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts Under 13 Mixed Choirs Competition.
The school’s choir was awarded the Clarke Challenge Cup with honours and were commended by the adjudicator for their balanced harmony, musicality and choral discipline.

U13 Mixed Choir Champions
For the first time the school entered The Rotary Challenge Cup the 7 and under class for infants with their interpretation of ‘Kicking up shells’ and ‘Teddy Bear Rock and Roll’. This young choir was awarded 83 marks and gained a distinction missing the top mark by 3 points. The school can be reassured that the high musical standard they have come to expect is going to continue into the future with those talented and enthusiastic pupils moving through the school.

85% of children learn to play an instrument.
The choice is huge, ranging from classical.....
...to pop and Jazz!
